Associate Financial Advisor

The Associate Financial Advisor (AFA) supports the Financial Advisor to further develop and enhance existing client relationships.

The AFA will act as a key point of contact for clients on non-administrative requests.

They will assist the Financial Advisor by attending client meetings and discussions covering financial planning, investment strategy, tax optimization and portfolio performance.

The AFA will communicate with team members to assist with the coordination of all sales and service activities.

They will also assist with business development to promote firm growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Identify and own the client onboarding processAssist the Financial Advisor with client’s review scheduleDocument client interactions and provide team with time sensitive updatesExecute on team service modelEngage team to address client’s needsAttend client review meetings to assist in re-discovery conversations, capture notes and follow up in Sales Force, and track all actions/activities to ensure highest level of client serviceMonitor and report on client satisfaction and manage the resolution of client escalations Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics or Financial PlanningMinimum three-five years financial services industry experienceSeries 65Obtain and/or maintain CFP designationPossess and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented with strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and priorities at oncePersonable with the ability to connect with clientsCapability to lead through collaboration and influence with direct authorityThorough knowledge and understanding of the suite of firm servicesAbility to research escalated client issues for response/resolutionSelf-starter and aptitude to work with a sense of urgency BenefitsCompetitive compensationHealth benefitsBonus programsA 401(k)-retirement plan with company matchA fun and friendly team of colleagues
