DescriptionParticipate in the origination and end-to-end execution of M&A and Project Finance Advisory (PFA) dealsDevelop detailed financial models to perform valuation exercises (DCF, FCFE, DDM, transaction multiple analysis, etc.), Fairness Opinions, and capital structure analyses (Acquisition Finance, maximum debt capacity, debt structure alternatives etc.)Assist in the preparation of pitching materials and transaction documentation (including teaser, information memorandum, management presentation, process letter, internal presentations, and market debt sounding materials, among others)Coordinate due diligence efforts by liaising with internal and external advisors, managing data rooms and facilitating information exchangeInteract with clients both during the origination and execution of M&A and PFA dealsConduct comprehensive industry and market research to help originating new deals, identify potential targets and understand industry trendsResponsible for drafting marketing materials (pitches) and deal materials (IMs, Teasers, Board presentations, capital structure presentations, etc.)Collaborate with other CIB teams to promote cross-selling of products and ensure smooth deal executionActively participate in the training of analysts QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law or Engineering.

MBA qualifications will be valued, but not a must to haveA minimum of 4 - 6 years of M&A experience in an investment bank or boutiqueStrong financial modeling, valuation, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skillsBilingual: English and Spanish requiredCultural skills: customer first, we think big and we are one teamLeadership skills: Empowerment, entrepreneurship, commitment to responsibilitiesCross-cutting skills: Continuous learning, effective communication, data-driven decision making, knowing how to give and receive feedbackSIE, Series 79, and Series 63 are required or must be obtained within six months of employment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.

With respect to this position in our Houston Office, the expected base salary ranges from $115,000 to $140,000.

It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained.

Market and organizational factors are also considered.

In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
