This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Associate Project Manager with approximately three years of experience supporting projects from initiation through completion.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience coordinating tasks, timelines, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.

In this role, you will contribute to ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within defined scope, and aligned with budget expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities Project planning and execution: Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, work plans, and timelines.

Assist with organizing project activities and ensuring resources are assigned appropriately.

Reporting and documentation: Prepare and update key project documents such as charters, requirement summaries, progress reports, and tracking logs.

Use project management software to monitor milestones, metrics, and hours logged.

Stakeholder communication: Serve as a central communication point for team members and external partners.

Help coordinate project meetings, create agendas, document action items, and provide routine updates to keep all parties informed.

Be comfortable addressing challenges directly to maintain project momentum.

Risk and issue management: Contribute to identifying potential risks or obstacles and collaborate with project stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.

Assist with resolving day-to-day operational concerns to keep projects moving smoothly.

Quality assurance: Review project deliverables to ensure they satisfy quality expectations and align with organizational goals.

Participate in evaluation, testing, and review activities as needed.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams across various functions- including technology, operations, and business units- to clarify requirements and maintain coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Education Required:Associate’s degree or higherAt least three years of experience in an IT-focused project management role handling multiple concurrent projectsExperience using project management platforms such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft ProjectStrong organizational skills with excellent attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication abilities, with comfort interacting across different audiencesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team settingCapability to work in a hybrid arrangement and be on-site in CT as needed Preferred:Project Management or Agile certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, Scrum)Background in an industry such as technology, manufacturing, or marketingFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum practicesHybrid work arrangement preferred, with willingness to be on-site when necessary
