Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Training Officer to join our dynamic Collections Training team. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure effectiveness, alongside excellent facilitation skills to deliver engaging and impactful training sessions. This person will be instrumental in developing the skills of our employees and driving organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Design, Development, and Delivery
Facilitate a variety of training programs (e.g., product knowledge, soft skills, compliance) using diverse methods (in-person, virtual, blended)
Adapt training materials and delivery style to suit different learning preferences and audience levels
Conduct Needs Assessments in collaboration with department managers to identify critical skill gaps
Design and develop high-quality, engaging training content, including presentations, job aids, and exercises
Analysis and Reporting
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using methods such as Kirkpatrick's levels and ROI analysis
Analyze performance data (e.g., QA scores, key performance indicators) to determine the impact of training and pinpoint areas for improvement
Compile and present detailed analytical reports on training outcomes, trends, and recommendations to the Training Manager
Assist the Training Manager in conducting TNAs and Leadership Training Programs
Administration and Compliance
Manage and update the Learning Management System (LMS) with course materials, registration, and completion records
Ensure all training documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational standards and industry regulations
Collect and analyze trainee feedback to continuously refine and enhance training modules
Required Skills and Qualifications
Training Facilitation: Has experience in conducting training and the ability to manage both classroom and online classes, maintain engagement, and facilitate discussions for diverse groups
Training Design: Experience in Designing and developing high-quality, engaging training content, including presentations, job aids, and exercises
Analysis and Reporting: Strong analytical skills in reviewing performance data (e.g., QA scores, KPIs) to assess training impact and identify areas for improvement.
Experience: Minimum of 2 -3 years experience in a dedicated training, facilitation, or instructional design role and or at least 1 year experience in a relevant industry (e.g. Banking and Finance, Collections, Fintech, Insurance, Etc)
Good to have but not required
Certification in Training and Assessment (e.g., CLDP, ATD certifications)
Familiarity with various instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
Background in AI and or Programming/coding
knowledgeable in using google sheets
Proficient in use of Canva
