DevOps Engineer

Embla Medical (Össur) is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Global Enterprise IT team. We are looking for a seasoned Engineer to help evolve our engineering organization toward a modern DevOps operating model.

This role will partner closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve delivery speed, reliability, and observability while reducing operational risk.

Main Responsibilities:

DevOps Enablement: Help define and mature DevOps standards, patterns, and governance across teams.

CI/CD & Automation: Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams and services.

Cloud & Infrastructure: Support cloud native infrastructure and infrastructure as code.

Reliability, Security & Observability: Partner with security teams to embed DevSecOps practices into pipelines.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in DevOps or related

Strong experience with CI/CD tools e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps

Deep understanding of cloud platforms, AWS, Azure, or GCP

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration, Docker or Kubernetes

Solid understanding of networking, security, and system architecture

Skýjalausnir og innviðir: Styðja við skýjabundna innviði og innviði sem kóða (Infrastructure as Code).

Hæfniskröfur:

5+ ára reynsla í DevOps eða tengdum störfum

Sterk reynsla af CI/CD verkfærum (t.d. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)

Góð þekking á skýjapöllum (AWS, Azure eða GCP)

Verkleg reynsla af Infrastructure as Code
