Title: Java Backend Developer

Locations: Hybrid-Addison, TX (primary location), then Pennington, NJ or Seattle, WA.

Duration: 6 months (Contract to Hire)

Interview Process: 1 onsite interview, 2 hours long, panel style with a coding test

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Backend Developer to support enterprise-level applications with a focus on security, fraud, and authentication systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java/J2EE development and building RESTful and SOAP-based services in a large-scale environment.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of hands-on Java backend development

Strong experience developing RESTful services using: (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, SOAP and Web Services)

Experience with security and fraud-related systems

Exposure to IBM Cognos Access Manager (CAM) Authentication (nice to have; niche skill)

Strong experience with development tools and environments: (Maven, Git / Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk and SOAP UI)

Solid understanding of enterprise application architecture

With strong Java/J2EE experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
