Job Summary
We're seeking a forward-thinking CNC Programmer who is passionate about precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement. In this role, you'll develop and optimize CNC programs that drive the production of high-quality components used in cutting-edge applications. Your expertise will directly influence performance, quality, and innovation on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, edit, and maintain CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining using leading CAD/CAM software.
Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
Select tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies that optimize cycle times while maintaining exceptional quality.
Partner with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot issues, refine processes, and elevate performance.
Run simulations and verify tool paths to eliminate errors, reduce scrap, and ensure flawless execution.
Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, revisions, and process improvements.
Uphold safety standards and quality procedures across all machining operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline workflows.
Support Lean Manufacturing efforts by analyzing and optimizing machining processes.Qualifications
Associate degree or technical certification in CNC programming, machining, or related field preferred.
5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM platforms such as Mastercam, GibbsCAM, SolidWorks, or similar.
Strong command of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
Deep understanding of machining materials including titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, plastics, and composites.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.Preferred Skills
Experience with multi-axis machining and advanced programming techniques.
Familiarity with ERP systems and shop-floor data collection tools.
Background in Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.Hours Salary Range
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
$95,000 - $105,000 commensurate with experience
