Join Our Team: Patient Safety Center (PSC) Associate - Croatia
Location: Zagreb, Croatia
Your Role: Are you passionate about patient safety and looking to make a significant impact in the field of pharmacovigilance? We invite you to apply for the position of Patient Safety Center (PSC) Associate at our affiliate in Zagreb, Croatia. In this role, you will be directly responsible for all Pharmacovigilance (PV) related tasks in Croatia and will be nominated as the Local Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) to HALMED.
As a PSC Associate, you will be an integral part of our regional organization, the Patient Safety Center Eastern Europe (PSC EE). Your responsibilities will extend beyond Croatia, allowing you to collaborate with a team in handling PV activities across other Eastern European countries. This is a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally at both local and global levels, driving initiatives that enhance patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the local Patient Safety Department in Croatia and its affiliates within the PSC EE territory.
Establish and maintain a robust local PV System in alignment with global and local legislation and company standards.
Ensure comprehensive product safety surveillance and manage PV compliance at the local level.
Oversee ongoing clinical studies and Patient Data Collection Systems (PDCS) activities.
Continuously monitor local PV legislation and the regulatory status of products.
Support local PV training initiatives to foster a culture of safety.
Act as the primary contact for local Health Authorities (HAs) in Croatia, addressing safety-related requests and managing PV inspections, including the preparation and submission of relevant documentation.
Participate in audits and support the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Are You Ready for This Challenge?
Who You Are:
You are a medical doctor specialized in clinical pharmacology or hold a medical degree or pharmacy qualification.
You have at least two years of documented experience in pharmacovigilance.
You are a resident of the Republic of Croatia.
You are fluent in written and spoken English and Croatian; knowledge of other Eastern European languages is a plus.
You possess a strong understanding of EU and local PV requirements in Croatia.
You have excellent communication skills and experience in process management.
You thrive in team environments, effectively collaborating across cultural and functional boundaries and contributing to virtual teams.
