Job Description*:

#Required Experience & Skills:

10–12 years of total experience in SAP ALM with deep expertise in SAP Solution Manager 7.2 (ChaRM, ITSM, Test Suite, Process/Business Process Ops, Landscape Mgmt).

2–3 years hands-on with SAP Cloud ALM: tenant provisioning, required

authorizations, system connections, implementation/operations setup, and reporting.

Proven delivery of Focused Build (requirements-to-deploy, release/test/defect management) in large programs.

Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and fit-to-standard execution within CALM.

Hands-on transport management (CTS/CTS+), retrofit/CSOL, multi-track delivery, and audit/compliance controls.

Familiarity with SAP’s ALM transition (SolMan maintenance until 2027;

recommendation to move to Cloud ALM).

Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation, and coaching skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications / Certifications

SAP training or certifications related to Solution Manager 7.2 (ChaRM/ITSM/Test

Suite/Focused Build) and SAP Cloud ALM.

Exposure to Tricentis Test Automation for SAP and integrations listed in CALM

toolchain (SAP Signavio, Roadmap Viewer, Cloud Transport Management, etc.).

#Key Responsibilities:

A. SAP Solution Manager (7.2) – Core ALM & Governance

Design, configure, and maintain ChaRM (Change Request Management): end-to- end change processes, transport orchestration (CTS/CTS+), approvals, CAB governance, auditability, and compliance.

Operate IT Service Management (ITSM) in SolMan: incident, problem, and service processes integrated with change management and project delivery.

Implement and run Test Suite: test planning, execution, defect management; enable traceability to requirements and changes.

Deploy and manage Focused Build for requirements-to-deploy (R2D): agile delivery at scale, release management, documentation, dashboards.

Business Process/Operations Monitoring: set up KPIs, alerts, job scheduling, and health dashboards to ensure stable operations across the SAP landscape.

Landscape Management & Solution Documentation: maintain LMDB/SysReg, process hierarchies, interfaces, and end-to-end documentation tied to releases and testing.
