Electrical Programmer

Job Description

Buckingham/Wolfe is a leader in structural moving, heavy transportation, and the design and manufacture of the equipment that makes it all possible. We’re looking for an Electrical Programmer who has hands-on experience with mobile equipment and can write clean, reliable code in Structured Text and/or C++.

Requirements

What We’re looking For

Experience programming mobile equipment, industrial controls, embedded systems or heavy machinery.

Proficiency in Structured Text and/or C++.

Solid understanding of hydraulics, sensors, wiring and control architecture.

Ability to diagnose electrical and software issues methodically.

Comfortable working around heavy equipment and in a hands-on environment.

Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate.

Experience with PLCs and/or HMIs (e.g., Danfoss, Parker, STW, etc.).

Familiarity with CAN bus (CANopen, J1939).

Previous work with custom-built equipment or low-volume production machinery.
