AWS Node.js Automation SME

Contract Term: 6 months

Work Location: downtown Toronto, ON. Hybrid, 3 days a week onsite

AWS Node.js Automation SME immediately and looking for a go-getting type of individual who can be proactive and eager to find improvements in processes and bring solutions (automation improvements)

The skills set required is as follows:

Strong Node.js development skills

Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:

• AWS Lambda

• AWS ECS

• AWS DynamoDB

• Ability to effectively leverage native AWS features to support a variety of operational scenarios

Robust automation mindset and experience:

• Demonstrated ability to automate manual processes across functional and operational areas

• Capable of designing automation solutions that are adaptable across environments and applications with minimal rework

Strong algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills

Test automation experience

Deployment strategy expertise, including:

• Practical experience with canary and blue-green deployments

• Ability to design and automate deployment strategies to minimize manual intervention and ensure reliability across environments

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience, preferably with AWS CDK

DevOps pipeline expertise, with the ability to apply an automation-first approach to infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows
