Packer / Inspector Responsibilities:

Monitor quality, maintaining a flow of material through the extrusion process

Maintain automation equipment ensuring that finished materials meet the specific quality standards and are packaged properly

Assemble boxes or cartons, counting and placing only inspected finished products which meet specifications into the appropriate box or carton

Label boxes and stack onto skid

Use calipers (inside and outside), gauges, other measuring devices and "samples" to ensure quality- finished product meets specifications

Maintain clean work area

Requirements for Packer / Inspector:

Able to read blueprint drawings, specification sheet and shop orders to determine package requirements, product specification and dimensions and material requirements

Understanding of packing methods and carton sizes including the location of boxes within manufacturing area
