Salary: $80,000-$110,000 Per Year

About the Role

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team on a variety of building projects, providing structural design and analysis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Horseheads, NY

Rochester, NY

Towanda, PA

Key Responsibilities

Design and analyze structural systems in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.

Lead the production of construction documents and specs.

Perform structural assessments of existing buildings.

Review and apply design codes and standards such as the New York State Building Code, International Building Code, ASCE-07, AISC, ACI, and NDS.

Use tools like RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, Enercalc, and Revit to bring your designs to life.

Coordinate in house with architects, MEP engineers, civil engineers, and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.

Mentor junior staff and represent the structural team in client meetings.

Qualifications

A PE license (Structural or Civil)

At least 5 years of building related structural engineering experience

Proficiency in design software such as RAM, STAAD, or RISA.

Experience and understanding of Revit and AutoCAD.

Strong knowledge of codes, detailing, and structural systems

Clear communication and the confidence to collaborate cross-functionally
