Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Shift: Variable Nights – 40 Hours Guaranteed

Setting: Long-Term Care / Nursing HomeJob Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team in a Long-Term Care facility. This position offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week on variable night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to elderly residents in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to residents during assigned night shifts.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with facility protocols.

Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report findings to the RN or physician.

Document all nursing care provided in residents’ medical records accurately and in a timely manner.

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide support to CNAs when needed.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies.

Participate in shift change reports and ensure continuity of care.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.Qualifications:

Current and valid LPN license in the state of [Insert State].

CPR/BLS certification (required).

Minimum of 1 year experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting preferred.

Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work variable night shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
