Title: Junior Backend/Middleware Developer

Location: Remote with ability to travel to support case work as required. Some travel requirements may be outside of the USA.

Position Overview: Knowledge Management, Inc. is seeking a Junior Backend/Middleware Developer to support the design and development of our client's secure, scalable API and middleware solutions. This role will focus on implementing well-defined API endpoints and writing comprehensive unit tests to ensure the reliability and quality of our mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement RESTful API endpoints using Java and the Spring Boot framework based on provided technical specifications.

Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, functionality, and performance.

Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and debug development efforts.

Participate in code reviews to learn and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

Experience developing applications with Java and the Spring Boot framework.

Familiarity with RESTful API design and development principles.

Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).

Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.

Desired Qualifications:

An existing US Treasury Public Trust or equivalent Federal security clearance.
