Referral Processor (healthcare)

Job Description

Our client is a leading healthcare organization with an urgent need for experienced Referral Processors in Atlanta, GA. This is a 3-month temporary position, but is likely to extend for candidates with a good attendance record, and high performance. This position is fully onsite.

Location: Atlanta, GA 30305 (this position is onsite)

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)

Duration: 1/12/26 - 3/28/26 (highly likely to extend, could convert to perm if a good fit)

Dress Code: Professional

$20/hr paid weekly

Job Summary:

This role performs a variety of clerical procedures to process outside medical referrals, functions as a liaison, and works independently. The Referral Processor I prioritizes member/patient needs, builds strong relationships, responds promptly to inquiries, and resolves issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer focus.

Skills Needed: Understanding of medical terminology, CPT and ICD Coding Principles, strong customer service orientation.Company Description
