Job Summary

We are hiring a dependable Maintenance Assistant to support daily facility maintenance and safety operations in a long-term care nursing center. This role helps ensure a clean, safe, and fully operational environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Focus will be on painting and general repairs.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Key Duties

Perform routine and preventive maintenance

Complete work orders and daily facility rounds

Assist with Life Safety and safety inspections

Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems

Replace light bulbs, filters, and fixtures

Maintain grounds and common areas

Prepare resident rooms for move-ins and discharges

Provide on-call maintenance support as needed

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Maintenance experience preferred (healthcare or long-term care a plus)

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repairs

Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
