* Experience - Minimum five (5) years experience in enterprise networking, including installation, configuration, and support of modern network infrastructure; demonstrated expertise in cloud networking, virtualization, and hybrid environments.
* Skills - Proficiency in configuring and managing Layer 2/3 switches, next-generation firewalls, wireless controllers, and SD-WAN solutions; Experience with cloud-based networking platforms and hybrid architectures; Ability to automate network operations using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell; Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tools; Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, including Zero Trust, VPN, NAC, and IDS/IPS; Experience supporting desktop and server operating systems in both on-prem and cloud environments; Knowledge of virtualization and container networking technologies; Ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies; Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills; Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Position Responsibilities: Maintain strict adherence to security protocols when managing highly confidential data and exercising elevated administrative access, ensuring the integrity and protection of critical organizational systems; plan, design, implement, and manage the Colleges network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments; ensure secure, scalable, and reliable network connectivity for academic and administrative operations; administer and maintain network hardware, software, and services in hybrid environments; design, document, and implement network architectures and standards; manage network access, internet services, and file/print services; oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions related to network infrastructure; monitor network performance and availability; troubleshoot and resolve complex issues; collaborate with IT teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of College-wide systems; evaluate, recommend, and implement hardware, software, and cloud services to improve infrastructure; manage vendor relationships, procurement, and coordination for networking components and services; coordinate network upgrades, expansions, and cabling projects, including work performed by contractors; provide technical support and training to end users, including documentation and workshops; participate in College committees and contribute to strategic IT planning and innovation; other duties as assigned.
