Customer Service Representative / Call Center
Location: Spring, TX 77373
Pay Rate: $16/hr
Schedule: M-F, Day Shift, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Overview:
Our client provides state municipal, industrial, and commercial clients with innovative and cost-effective solutions for utility system management. Services include operations, maintenance, and management of public works, water, wastewater, and utility billing systems
Responsibilities:
Customer service: Assisting customers by phone, email, or in person. This can include answering questions about utility policies and programs, and handling complaints.
Monthly billing, processing customer payments, preparing bills, and making adjustments.
Datat entry and editing system-generated reports for accuracy
Investigate billing discrepancies, process past due notices, process billing and fines as related to ultility billing.
Handling work orders for service disconnections, reconnections, and new orders.
Service turn on and off: Processing requests to turn water service on and off.
Account management: Establishing and maintaining customer accounts, and ensuring account information is accurate.
Database management: Inputting and querying databases to make financial adjustments and prorate changes.
Coordinate with meter readers and field personnel to maintain status of account activities and compliance issues
Other responsibilities may include:
Verifying credit and deposit information
Reviewing customer correspondence
Providing information about community financial assistance resources
Reviewing income eligibility applications, tax returns, and transcripts
Required Qualifications :
Fluency in English
Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus but not required.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Utility experience preferred but not required
Analytical Skills
Basic Computer knowledge
