Senior/Staff/Lead Rails/Typescript Engineer

We are looking for an outstanding Senior/Staff/Lead Rails/Typescript Engineer who wants to play a core role in building our core applications platform.

Note: This full-stack role will be 40% FE (Typescript) and 60% BE (Ruby on Rails)

Example Responsibilities:

End-to-end Feature Development: Responsible for the overall development, design, and implementation of front-end/back-end services.

Realtime Feature Dev: Contribute to and develop the architecture for enabling real-time capabilities across our platform.

Building Front End Components: Building pixel-perfect front-end components (ex. Lit framework) and iterating user-focused applications and interfaces.

Performance Optimization: Identify, assess, and improve bottlenecks or scaling issues. Looking for ways to make the product better!

Qualifications:

6+ years full stack experience building and scaling services in Ruby and JavaScript (ideally experienced in Typescript)

Strong in both Ruby on Rails and modern JS Web development

Design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices

Experience building and architecting microservices and distributed systems (deploying over AWS or GCP)

Write test suites and deploy using our CI/CD pipeline

Knowledge of database systems (Postgres) and SQL
