Job Summary
The ServiceNow Developer will join a high?performing IT Shared Services team responsible for building scalable, secure, and automated solutions across the ServiceNow ecosystem. This role blends platform development, system administration, and operational support, requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non?technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate excels in automation, ITSM processes, and supporting large enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Customization
Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, and integrations using Flow Designer and Automation Engine.
Build and maintain UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and portal widgets.
Develop and optimize CMDB structures aligned with ITIL best practices.
Contribute automation strategies across ITSM, ITAM, HAM, SAM, and related modules.
System Administration
Perform instance configuration, upgrades, and patching to maintain platform health.
Manage roles, ACLs, and security configurations to ensure appropriate access.
Monitor performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies.
Operational Support
Provide tier?3 support for ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITAM, CSM, HAM/SAM, and Discovery.
Troubleshoot integrations with systems such as Azure AD, inTune, SCCM, and MID Servers.
Participate in after?hours deployments of code and configuration changes.
Support daily administration and interact with non?technical customers.
Additional Notes from Hiring Team
ITSM is required.
At least one of ITAM, HAM, or SAM is required.
CSM experience is not required but strongly boosts a candidates competitiveness.
CMDB and Discovery experience are valuable differentiators.
The role operates within an Agile environment and a large, multinational corporate structure.
Required Experience
Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
Minimum 3 years of hands?on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and MID Server configuration.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise ITSM frameworks.
Ability to work in large multinational environments or shared/managed services.

CIS-CSM
CIS-ITSM
CIS-HAM
CIS-SAM
Experience with Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, or AI Search.
Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps.
