Masterite Division of DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is seeking an experience SMT Operator with the following qualifications:

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Utilize SMT machines to place surface mount parts and solder reflow the devices to the printed circuit board. Responsible for the set-up of all pieces of equipment on the SMT line, including the screen printer, the pick and place machines and the reflow oven.

Key Performance Indictors: List two to five measurable tasks that are key to indicating the performance level in this role:

Operate SMT Equipment

Preventive Maintenance SMT and Production Equipment

X-Ray setup and training

Batch Cleaning

Independently operate SMT automatic assembly equipment: Screen Printer, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven to produce high quality complex circuit board assemblies.

Responsible to setup, read and understand Set-up lists, Assembly Instructions, and assembly notes.

Prepare and load components to feeders

Familiar with the ESD handling procedures of sensitive electronic devices

Familiar with IPC-A-610 and JSTD-001 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.

Identify manufacturer’s part number markings on various components.

Identify critical component features: Package type and Size

Identify, document, and report non-conforming material.

Perform routine maintenance for production equipment.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in SMT industry (minimum of 3 years).

SMT equipment experience: Screen Printer, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven and AOI

Must IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 and JSTD-001 Class 3 Certified or Knowledge (minimum of 3 years)

Ability to be trained for equipment maintenance

Familiarity with ovens, hot plates, hot air pencil, etc.

Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions and be detailed oriented.

Maintain a clean, safe well organized work-station through routine housekeeping.

Normal work time spent indoors

A neat and tidy personal appearance must be maintained;

Occasional periods of high levels of physical exertion needed, this includes heavy

lifting (50+ lb.), walking, bending, pushing large loads, carrying, stooping, reaching, etc.
