Akkodis is seeking a Senior Engineer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). You will design and implement secure, scalable data pipelines and integrations between AWS and Snowflake while ensuring compliance with IAM best practices.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Engineer job responsibilities include:
Design and implement secure, scalable data pipelines for ETL and data integration between AWS and Snowflake.
Manage AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda) and ensure compliance with IAM roles and security best practices.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data transformation and integration.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and version control using GitHub.
Integrate APIs and automate workflows using Python, Java, or JavaScript for seamless data operations.
Work with Talend and data modeling tools, and maintain familiarity with platforms like Alation, Manta, and Anomalo for data governance and quality. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
6-8 years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Snowflake and AWS services.
Proven experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable data pipelines and integrations between AWS and Snowflake.
Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
