Eclipse Exhibits looking for our next Service Technician. We are a Central Ohio based exhibit and events company offering boutique, local customer service, with a global reach. We specialize in creating captivating and interactive exhibits for a wide range of clients, including museums, corporate events, trade shows, and more. Position Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring the proper setup, maintenance, and teardown of our client’s exhibits in our exhibit management program. The Service Technician works closely with the Service Manager to provide support for our clients, ensuring that their exhibits are properly maintained and their expectations are met.
This full-time position supports all activities of our fully functioning warehouse including the receiving and loading of exhibit materials, organized and efficient storage of client assets, and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is talented at assembly/construction of exhibits, able to follow directions, able to maintain organization, and is dedicated to excellence, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.
Essential Responsibilities/Outputs:
Follow Eclipse Service SOP: Follow Service SOP guidelines for operation of the warehouse and client interactions. (See Eclipse Service SOP)
Exhibit Setup and Teardown: Follow Service SOP for check-in/out procedures and safely assemble and disassemble exhibit structures and components. Install and arrange audiovisual equipment, lighting, and signage as required. Ensure that all exhibit elements are properly secured for stability and safety.
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to exhibit components and equipment. Provide technical support to clients on-site to address any problems that may arise during an event.
Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance to keep exhibits in optimal condition. Perform necessary repairs to exhibit structures, graphics, and electronic equipment as directed.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all exhibit elements are clean, well-maintained, and free from defects. Conduct pre- and post-event inspections to confirm exhibit functionality and appearance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, according to Service SOP, of activities, equipment, inventory, freight logs, and repairs.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in working with audiovisual and electronic equipment.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy exhibit components, stand for extended periods of time, and work at heights if necessary.
Exceptional communication (verbal, written) skills to support all aspects of the role.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
This position works from Eclipse Exhibits main office.
This position requires heavy lifting and operation of machinery.
This position may require travel to various event locations.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules demand.Company Description
