Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Intellectual Disabled Clients in a Nursing Home (ICF-DDN).

Responsibilities:

Administer nursing care to disabled clients

Diagnose and establish client treatment plans (Care Plans)

Monitor and report changes in client symptoms or behavior

Schedule and take Clients to appointments

Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding client care

Educate clients and staff about health maintenance and disease prevention

Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

Maintain accurate client medical records

Provide advice and emotional support to clients and their team members

Oversee LVN and Direct Care Staff to ensure Clients are getting appropriate care based on individual needs

Answer and Report to California Department of Public Health (CDPH) - Fresno at any time needed

Further responsibilities given during Orientation

Qualifications:

Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields

Preferred experience with ICF-DDN Regulations

Preferred experience with CDPH

Familiarity with Computer Software

Ability to build rapport with clients and staff

Ability to be a great/helpful Leader and Supervisor

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to respond well in a stressful situationCompany Description
