What You’ll Do
CNC Programming & Process Support
Program CNC machines (mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment) using CAD/CAM software to support production needs.
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, quality, cycle times, and tool life.
Select tooling, develop setup instructions, and maintain process documentation.
Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
CNC Machining & Setup
Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines to produce precision components.
Load programs, verify offsets, and perform first-article inspections.
Monitor machine performance, make necessary adjustments, and ensure parts meet specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety and quality procedures.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer and/or CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment (metalworking, molds, or precision machining preferred).
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens NX (preferred), or similar.
Strong understanding of G-code, CNC operations, machining processes, tooling, speeds/feeds, and setup practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
What Will Set You Apart
Experience with multi-axis machining (4-axis or 5-axis).
Knowledge of mold manufacturing or tire mold machining.
Experience optimizing CNC programs for efficiency and tool life.
Background in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process optimization.
Education & Physical Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or vocational training in machining or CNC technology preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
