Allocate customer orders into waves and schedule releases to the floor.
Balance workload to sustain acceptable inbound and outbound truck turn times.
Sequence work to maximize interleaving and overall productivity.
Identify and resolve product shortages; manage order cuts and inform customers.
Set day-to-day priorities for individual Lift Truck Operators (LTOs) with Dock Supervisors.Skills and experience
Prior warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong communicator; bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus for customer updates.
Customer service orientation with comfort in a sales-driven, results-focused setting.
Manual dexterity for computer/office work; ability to talk, hear, and see to perform assigned tasks.
Willingness to enter temperature-controlled areas at or below freezing as needed.How you’ll succeed
