Required Skills & Qualifications

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

8+ years Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, SQL, and Assembler

Experience with CICS, DB2, VSAM, z/OS, ISPF, and Mainframe Utilities

Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Experience with batch and online processing, data analysis, and system integration

Experience with performance tuning and optimization of applications

Ability to create and maintain technical specifications and user manuals

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Create, modify, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, Assembler, or other relevant languages

Ensure efficient operation of central processing systems, handling updates and enhancements

Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for software applications
