CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator

Location: Warren, MI Shift: 1st Pay: Dependent on Experience

What You'll Be Doing

As a CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

Programming: Program machines according to the CAD drawing and assist other lathe operators with programming tasks.

Setup & Operation: Must be able to set up, operate, and maintain operations on one or more CNC controlled machines (Okuma preferred).

Quality Control: Inspect parts for defects, ensure the product meets customer requirements, and perform final inspection and gauging of parts.

Maintenance & Efficiency: Perform preventative maintenance, edit programs as needed, and obtain all required tooling, drawings, and special instructions.

Safety & Teamwork: Observe all safety regulations and be able to work independently and with a team.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

CNC Lathe Programming/Operating experience is required.

Experience with Okuma machines preferred but not required.

Experience with IGF conversational programming a plus.

Attendance is critical and must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Skills:

Programming Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to program CNC lathes from CAD drawings and edit existing programs.

Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail for inspecting and gauging parts to ensure customer specifications are met.

Machine Operation: Expertise in setting up and operating CNC controlled machines.
