Drivers 1st is hiring CDL A drivers for a local dedicated slipseat position running dry van freight. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who want daily home time, steady pay, and consistent freight with no-touch-free duties.

This position offers a mix of live loads and preloaded trailers, ensuring flexibility throughout your day. Work with a reliable schedule while driving for a fleet that values safety, quality equipment, and driver-first communication.

Pay & Benefits:

$275 daily pay rate

$1,375 average weekly pay

$71,500 annual average pay

Paid by daily rate based on time worked

Hours 0–5.5: 50% of daily rate

Hours 5.51+: Full daily rate

Home Time & Routes:

Home Daily

Solo driver position

Primarily dry van freight

50% drop and hook / 50% live load-unload

0% no-touch freight

Minimum Requirements:

Class A CDL license required

Must meet one of the following:

6 months OTR experience in the last 18 months (1 carrier, 100+ truck fleet, no accidents)

8 months OTR in the last 18 months (1 carrier, 1 accident max, any fleet size)

12 months OTR in the last 3 years Additional requirements:

No DOT-recordable accidents in the last 3 years

No major moving violations (past 6 months)

No more than 3 jobs in the last 12 months

No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years

No more than 18 months of unemployment in the last 3 years

Winter chaining required
