Senior Operational Finance Analyst - Corporate Accounting & Finance (Chicago, IL)
Location: 200 W. Adams St., Chicago, IL 60606
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (30 remote workdays per year; every other Friday off)
Travel: Occasional travel to Kansas and Missouri
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Operational Finance Analyst to support the Great Lakes Region. This role is based in our Chicago office and offers a dynamic opportunity to engage directly with business leaders, provide financial reporting and analysis, and contribute to strategic decision-making. The position serves as a key financial contact for market leadership and regional executives.

Anticipated Base Salary: $105,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

Regional Financial Leadership
Assist executive leadership in defining and implementing regional goals and best practices
Support annual business planning and quarterly forecasting
Monitor and report monthly financial results
Perform ad hoc analyses, including market trends, scenario planning, and pricing strategies Corporate Accounting Liaison
Provide guidance on revenue recognition, budgeting, forecasting, billing, and project costing
Review contracts for financial implications and compliance with accounting standards
Participate in monthly project reviews and assist with close-period activities
Collaborate with finance teams across offices to ensure consistent practices Data Analysis & Training
Utilize systems such as Oracle, Power BI, and EcoSys for reporting and analysis
Coordinate reporting requirements across departments
Lead training sessions on accounting standards, system updates, and best practices Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience
Public accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Preferred:
Experience with construction/engineering contract accounting
Familiarity with Oracle and Power BI
