Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Java Backend Developer position for our client.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and support Java backend APIs using Vert.x and Java/JEE technologies.

Work with enterprise systems including GNST, MT, NRD, and NTR.

Implement transaction management, batch processing, and data access frameworks.

Apply best practices in dependency injection, aspect-oriented programming, and test-driven development.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

3-5 years of Java backend API development experience.

Strong Vert.x expertise.

1+ year experience with MT, NRD, NTR, and GNST systems.

Experience with web technologies and enterprise system integration.

Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
