FORKLIFT – SHIPPING & RECEIVING

Schedule: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Temp-to-Hire - Waterbury, CT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate with forklift experience to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves loading/unloading trucks, moving materials throughout the facility, preparing shipments, receiving incoming goods, and maintaining accurate documentation. Ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, good attendance, and prior forklift operation in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklift

Load and unload trucks, pallets, and materials

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments

Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders

Move product and inventory to designated areas

Use basic computer or inventory systems (training provided)

Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines

Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:

Previous forklift experience and certification

Shipping/receiving or warehouse experience

Ability to lift 40–50 lbs when needed

Good communication and strong attendance

Reliable transportation to and from work
