Maine Medical Center Biddeford -Medical Surgical Telemetry (MS3) Part-Time, Day-Shift 2, 12-Hour Shifts 6:45A - 7:15P Nursing/Clinical Support Req #: 55090 For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) 0 - 1 years of experience is eligible for up to $2,500(full time) 1+ years of experience eligible for up to $4,000(full time) Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time ANA/CNA position.

Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Unit Description: Med Surg 3 (MS3) is a fast-paced 56 bed Adult Medical Surgical Telemetry unit at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, Maine.

The healthcare team provides care to adult complex patient populations from a wide variety of medical-surgical services including, but not limited to, Pulmonary, Renal, Infectious Disease, GI, Cardiac, Hematology/Oncology, and Orthopedics.

Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant - Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) * Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

* License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required.

Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

* Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
