DEEP - Linux System Engineer

In order to strengthen the DEEP teams within its Business Line Client Infrastructure, we are currently looking for a full-time Linux System Engineer (m/f/n) to support our client, a major European Institution on-site.

Vos missions

Manage a large-scale Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) infrastructure of over 5,000 servers, ensuring security, stability, and compliance with strict SLAs.

Play a key role in modernization projects such as migration to RHEL9, Satellite upgrades, Puppet, automation with Ansible, and advanced monitoring with Elastic.

Work in a complex, regulated, and multilingual environment, contributing to European Institutions' critical IT operations.

Contribute to continuous service improvement within a dynamic and high-impact IT environment.

Votre profil

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 2–4 years in a similar role.

Advanced experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8, and 9 (mandatory).

Certification RHCSA Linux is a strong asset

ITILv4 Foundation certification required

Strong skills in system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and hardening.

Expertise in Ansible automation, Git / GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with lifecycle management (patching, compliance, security updates).

Knowledge of networking, DNS, NFS, and storage troubleshooting.

Familiarity with Red Hat Satellite, OpenShift, and Nginx reverse proxy.

Monitoring and log analysis with Elasticsearch / Kibana.

Ability to resolve incidents affecting Tomcat and Spring Boot applications.

Strong sense of ownership, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under SLA constraints.

Practical understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Request, Change, Problem).

Languages: English and French (professional proficiency); other EU languages are a plus.
