We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This is a hands-on position ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in precision, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Program CNC mills/lathes using G-code, CAM software, or machine controls (Haas/Fanuc/Mazak or similar).
Set up machines, fixtures, tooling, and materials for production runs.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to determine machining operations.
Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain tolerances.
Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
Optimize machining processes for speed, accuracy, and tool life.
Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow all safety procedures.
Troubleshoot machine or programming issues to minimize downtime.
Work with engineering and production to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Complete documentation and maintain production records.
Requirements
3–5+ years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both).
CNC programming experience (G-code, CAM, or conversational).
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
Proficient in setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of machining speeds/feeds, tooling selection, and materials.
Ability to maintain tight tolerances.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience with Haas, Mazak, Fanuc, or similar controls.
Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, or other CAM software.
Welding or fabrication experience.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
