We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee the operations of our cold food manufacturing facility.
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and effective production processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe working environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of production workers, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality cold food products to meet customer demands.
The hours for this position are 1 pm to 10 pmCompensation:
$58,000 - $60,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Supervise Production Operations: Lead and direct a team of production workers, including line operators, machine operators, and work closely with quality control and maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Production Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production planners to create and implement production schedules that optimize resource utilization and meet production targets.
Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control measures throughout the production process to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, product specifications, and customer requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance operational efficiency, minimize waste, and maximize productivity.
Training and Development: Train and develop production staff on proper operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance personnel to schedule and perform routine maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by promoting and enforcing safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation, and provide regular reports on production metrics to management.Qualifications:
Demonstrable leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control practices, and food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
