Machine Operator

The Role

Orora is expanding the capacity of its cans business, investing millions to increase capacity at our Queensland site through introducing a new manufacturing line. This is where you come in.

Reporting into the shift supervisor and working a 12hr rotating shift 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am the key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

Maintaining safety, quality, and manufacturing standards

Operating high speed machinery including:

performing changeovers

troubleshooting

machine adjustments

maintenance tasks

Assist in machinery changeovers.

Reading & following SOP's

Contributing to our approach of continuous improvement and helping to achieve world class operational performance.

Be a proactive and enthusiastic team member.

All About You

Strong communication skills & a team player

Basic computer skills

Good mechanical aptitude

Availability to work across 24hr rotating shift patterns.

Manufacturing or printing experience is advantageous.

Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing.
