Job Title: Process Specialist

Location: Edinburgh, IN

Salary: $68k - $75k/yr DOE

Requirements: Associates Degree or Technical Degree in Engineering Preferred and 2yrs of Injection Molding Process Engineering OR 7+ years experience in Injection Molding Process roles

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Process Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing production processes, ensuring high-quality output, and implementing efficient manufacturing practices. This position requires expertise in injection molding and a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and maintain safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.

Operate and troubleshoot injection molding equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to implement process improvements and maintain production quality.

Conduct regular inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Assist in inventory management and supply chain coordination to ensure smooth production flow.

Identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency.

Participate in root cause analysis for production issues and develop corrective actions.

Support maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Document production processes and maintain accurate records of production metrics.

Qualifications

Technical Degree in Engineering or a relevant field and at least 2 years of related Injection Molding Process Engineering experience

OR

High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of hands-on injection molding/ production experience of experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with safety protocols and quality control procedures
