WS - Embedded Electric Engineer - MN area - Nov 2024- 1901

Our client in the Minnesota area is a global leader in manufacturing and overhauling aerospace structures, systems, and components and is looking for an Embedded Electric Engineer responsible for providing support for their Company. This position is onsite and direct hire. It is desirable that the candidate has a strong previous Avionics experience and FAA and certification experience.

Essential Function of the Job:

Support hardware embedded code (HEC) development planning.

Support HEC developmental testing and prototyping efforts.

Develop software/system requirements; Manage spec flow down from customer spec to software requirements / design docs.

Develop V&V plans and procedures to military standards or DO-178.

Develop reports and identify product or process improvements.

Provide SW support for internal groups (lab, tools for other groups, etc).

Support customer facing reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc).

Prepare technical documentation as well as design review materials.

Collaborate with system-level, hardware and software design engineers to develop designs on aggressive time schedules.

Prepare and conduct manual and automatic tests.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in EE or related, 5+ years' experience.

C, C++ programming for embedded systems.

Strong communication skills.

Power electronics or motor controls or actuation systems, electric machine drives.
