CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer-MasterCAM - Everett WA area - 1005

Our client in the Everett, WA area is an Engineering and manufacturing Company that specializes in the fabrication and design of machined parts, sheet metal parts and assemblies and is looking for a CNC Machinist Setup - Operator responsible for providing support for their Company.

Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business 20 years in the US and 8 years in Europe.

Position purpose/core responsibilities:

Looking for qualified CNC setup / operator that will provide our clients with high quality parts delivered on a short turn. Will be independent, motivated, and excited to work in a fast paced environment.

Main Duties:

Utilize set up sheets, drawings, and notes from the programmer to set up 3,4,5 axis parts on Haas vertical milling centers.

Set tools per job requirements.

Change cutting tools and adjust feeds and speeds per job requirements.

Master CAM experience

Setup and running of HAAS CNC machines experience would be an advantage

Qualifications:

High school or equivalent (Preferred).

Machining: 3 years (Preferred).

Must be familiar with G and M codes.

Must be able to perform minor edits to the program at the machine as needs.

Must be willing and able to set up and operate multiple machines at a time.

Must be fully familiar with common inspection equipment and perform preliminary inspections of your work.

Must be fully capable of interpreting aerospace drawings, parts lists, specifications, and client requirements.
