CNC Programmers -Esprit- Apr

CNC Programmer - Esprit - Citizen lathes - OR - April 2025 - 1619

Our client in the ORwho specializes in multi-axis CNC Swiss Turning and micro/miniature machining is looking for a CNC Programmer with experience in Esprit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD/CAM systems, machining processes and programming techniques to generate NC code to produce parts from blueprints and manufacturing planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Use Esprit to program multi-axis CNC Swiss machines

Engineer new parts to take from print to production

Tool selection, Tooling box creation, Setup sheet management, Process troubleshooting.

Generate NC code to manufacture precision parts from blueprints and manufacturing plans.

Work with CAD/CAM systems to optimize machining processes.

Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and high-quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong background in CAD/CAM (Esprit preferred).

Experience with Swiss-style CNC machines.

Knowledge of machining processes & programming techniques.

Ability to interpret technical drawings & blueprints

Understanding toolpaths, speeds/feeds, and multi-axis tool changes will be crucial.

Previous experience with miniature/micro-machining is a plus.

Work closely with Quality Control to ensure Quality standards to ISO 9001:2015 are met.

When needed, set up new parts and get to first article acceptance.

When needed, troubleshoot machine alarms and help diagnose problem and remedy
