On-Site What you will do:
Schedule and coordinate fixture, straightening, machine shop, and layout operations
Ensure adherence to inspection, safety, and quality standards
Develop and maintain work instructions; submit revisions to Quality Control
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on first article inspection and predevelopment parts.
Oversee completion of internal and external documentation (e.g., AS9102 forms, inspection reports)
Train and evaluate employees; maintain accurate training records
Manage equipment maintenance and calibration schedules; liaise with external suppliers
Direct quality assurance and control functions to optimize quality and cost
Obtain necessary certifications and stamps for layout and inspection operations
Maintain tool crib and calibration schedules
Utilize Polyworks and other metrology tools for layout and inspection processes What you will need to be successful:
Associate degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of metrology experience with strong technical skills
Proficiency in Polyworks, Excel, and metrology tools (snap calipers, micrometers)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong communication skills for coordinating across departments
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, and NADCAP standards preferred Benefits overview:
