Key Responsibilities
Drafting pleadings, motions, and other court-related documents
Reporting effectively, timely, and professionally to clients
Sending and responding to discovery, including coordination with clients to obtain relevant responsive documents and information
Conducting legal research on a variety of issues relevant to insurance defense litigation
Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, site inspections, and mediations
Active participation in all aspects of litigation management
This is a full-time in-office position with the potential for remote hybrid flexibility after ramp up.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of insurance defense experience.
Texas bar license (Required)
Must have strong analytical, research and writing skills as well as the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Candidates must be admitted and good standing in Texas.
Candidates are asked to provide their resume, references, writing sample, and compensation expectations.
