Packing Lead

Job Summary: The Pack and Shipping Lead will assist with the packing and shipping of products, lead shift packing teams, and communicate with other shift leads.

Supervisory Responsibilities: * Could have up to 20 reports Duties/Responsibilities: * Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking "Safety First". * Plan and coordinate, on a daily basis, shift packing teams plan of execution.

* Plan and coordinate, on a daily basis, the most effective pack team organization and work arrangement.

* Manage and ensure all work orders are complete and accurate once they are brought to shipping.

* Maintain neat and accurate department records including all daily logs.

* Provide an emphasis on safety.

* Drive the vision and culture of our company in order to deliver great customer service.

* Develop employees by ensuring proper training and providing ongoing feedback and coaching.

* Ensure all company policy and procedures are followed by self and all employees.

* Participate and lead in assigned work projects Required Skills/Abilities: * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to manage people effectively * Excellent planning and organization skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects or opposing priorities * Ability to learn quickly in a new environment and hit the ground running * Smart, fun, and resourceful with professional demeanor * Ability to work well with individuals and teams both inside and outside the company Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements: * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

* Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock.
