Maine Veterans’ Homes is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Maine’s veterans and families. High school diploma or GED
Must be able to read at the 10th grade level and pass a written English exam demonstrating this.
Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
Basic computer skills
Participants must meet the following criteria to be accepted in the 'Earn While You Learn' CNA Training Program:
Complete interview with Clinical Instructor
Complete a Pre-Hire Employment Screening
Complete CASAS Reading/Comprehension
