TMB has an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Data Management Analyst to provide support to a U.S. Navy program office.
Responsibilities
The Jr. Database Management Analyst will provide technical and analytical support to the NAVSEA Director for Surface Ship Maintenance, Modernization, and Sustainment (SEA 21).
This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing databases that store critical program data, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
Design, implement, and maintain relational databases supporting SEA 21 programs and initiatives.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with DoD and NAVSEA data governance standards.
Develop queries, reports, and dashboards to support program analysis and leadership briefings.
Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies for efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with data analysts, program managers, and IT teams to integrate data solutions into workflows.
Support data migration, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
Maintain cybersecurity compliance and access control protocols for sensitive data.
Qualifications
1-year professional experience.
Bachelor’s degree in math, science, engineering, or related field.
Associates degree and 1 year of professional experience is acceptable instead of a bachelor’s degree.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
