CNC Programmer
Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: On-site, Denver, NC
Overview:
Manufacturer seeking a CNC Programmer to create efficient, accurate programs for 3- to 5-axis machining using Mastercam. This role supports Mazak, Haas, and Georg Fischer equipment and requires strong understanding of tight-tolerance aerospace parts and materials.
Responsibilities:
Program 3- to 5-axis CNC parts in Mastercam, including simulation and verification.
Post and validate programs for Mazak, Haas, and Georg Fischer machines.
Select tools, cutting parameters, and strategies for aerospace materials (titanium, Inconel, stainless, aluminum).
Create setup sheets, tool lists, and process documentation.
Support machinists during setup, prove-outs, and first-article runs (AS9102).
Design and plan fixtures, datums, and multi-axis setups.
Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle time and tool life.
Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, and engineering requirements.
Requirements:
3+ years CNC programming experience; aerospace preferred.
Proficient in Mastercam for 3- to 5-axis programming.
Experience with Mazak, Haas, and/or Georg Fischer machines.
Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation skills.
Hands-on experience with high-temp aerospace alloys.
Preferred:
Familiarity with AS9100, AS9102 FAI, and on-machine probing.
Background in fixture design and multi-axis strategies.
