Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal & Admin Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a corporate legal environment, working closely with our leadership and external counsel on matters critical to a high-tech manufacturing and software company. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, a keen interest in intellectual property and corporate law, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Legal & Admin Intern will assist the team in a dual capacity:Legal Support:
Conducting legal research on intellectual property, data privacy, contract law, and industry-specific regulations (e.g., aerospace compliance).
Assisting with the preparation and review of contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and other legal documentation.
Supporting compliance efforts related to international trade and technology transfer regulations.
Assisting in maintaining organized legal files and documentation systems.
Collaborating with external legal counsel on ongoing matters.Administrative Support:
Providing general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing company records.
Assisting with preparing presentations and reports for management.
Managing office supply inventory and assisting with general office operations to ensure efficiency.
Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Law School (preferred), or pursuing a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration, Pre-Law, or a related field.
Strong academic performance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software systems.
Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, Legal AI tools) is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
A high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in a sensitive technology environment.
Interest in the technology, aerospace, semiconductors, or manufacturing industries is desirable.
