Intern, Test and Automation

Our growing company is looking to fill the role of a Test and Automation Intern. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities

Help design and create test scripts using Java, Python and similar software

Evaluating new tools and technologies

Define, develop, and execute test engineering tasks, which include reviewing product requirements and analysis, executing test plans and test cases, monitoring and analyzing test results, defining and compiling test metrics

Assist in development of hardware and software testing methodologies, testing approaches and planning, QA processes, tracking of metrics and defects

Interact with technical teams and business users to identify and share test information and procedures

Understanding how automations are written and used in the Hardware and Software industry

Work with top notch talent in the industry

You can also help us identify new tests to write and tests that need to be updated

Qualifications

A recent graduate or currently pursuing BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Science, Information Systems or Software Engineering

Must have strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills with ability to work in a team environment

Must be proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, and charts)

Minimum of 6 months experience in scripting and/or programming skills

Experience developing and/or testing modern day web-applications

Experience developing and/or testing mobile apps
